hey hey hey..look at me being on time and stuff...:)
In country music, i have to admit, there are some pretty bad lyrically written songs. Some talk about their awesome pick up truck, or it's a pity fest of how their wife left because they drink too much, or how they think their tractor is sexy etc..etc..So when i hear a really good written song, it is very much appreciated. Now when an awesome singer sings an awesome song...i'm a happy camper. I must admit, although Martina McBride is not a songwriter herself, she has a knack for picking awesome songs and of course has some major skills when it comes to singing. There's a song on one of her older albums, Emotion, called "From the Ashes."
